Getting started with Vertex GPS

Enrolling into vertex gps

Once you are prescribed a Vertex product, you and your healthcare provider will work together to complete an enrollment form.

Connecting with your case manager

After your enrollment form has been submitted, your Case Manager will reach out to welcome you to Vertex GPS. You can also learn more about your Case Manager and the rest of the team here.

confirming insurance coverage

Your Case Manager will work with your insurance company to confirm coverage and requirements for your medication. They will then inform you and your healthcare provider of the outcome and explore potential financial support services.


If you have commercial insurance, Vertex may be able to help reduce your co-pay* to $15 per refill. Call your Case Manager at 1-877-752-5933 (press 2) to see if you’re eligible.

working with your specialty pharmacy

After your insurance is confirmed, your Case Manager will send your prescription to the specialty pharmacy. Your specialty pharmacy will then reach out to you to coordinate the first shipment.

While enrolled in Vertex GPS and on a Vertex treatment, you can expect to receive educational tools and resources to help you stay on track.
