My hobbies:

My favorite hobby is doing something creative. This might come in the form of sketching some new furniture designs, engaging in woodworking projects (building the furniture designs), or dabbling with small watercolor or acrylic paintings. And if I’m having a creative block and need inspiration, I’ll spend time wandering through an art museum/exhibit

My pets:

My two fur babies keep me busy! I have a 12 year old dachshund and a 1 year old pitty mix. The dachshund is the boss

What motivates me:

Something that inspires and motivates me is being able to advocate for and make a difference in the lives of the patients I work with

Besides English, I can speak:

A tiny bit of Spanish (need more practice), a few words in Korean, Farsi, Arabic, French, and German.* (Jack of all trades, master of none I suppose!)

My favorite tradition:

I guess I’d have to say finding the perfect live Christmas tree and decorating it with my partner. I LOVE the smell of a real Christmas tree

If I could have a superpower, it would be:

To be a time traveler

My favorite part of being a GPS Support Specialist:

Working in such a positive and supportive environment with amazing colleagues, and making meaningful connections with patients

Anything Mexican. Recently, I’ve been trying to cook creative meals without recipes—scary yet exciting!

What motivates me:

Getting my heart rate up gives me energy and often improves my mood. I love listening to music, dancing, and taking walks

Besides English, I can speak:

I learn and practice Spanish on an app every single day. I’ve been doing this for 4 years—I’m becoming fluent…slowly*

My favorite tradition:

Reading with my son before bed every night

Connecting with fellow parents, listening to people’s experiences, and collaborating with others to resolve issues

Music. I have a playlist that I listen to every morning

I grew up on Lake Erie, so most definitely spending time on the lake during the summer

If I could have a superpower, it would be:

Teleportation. It would make travel easier, and I could avoid the Boston traffic
